Stirling Council, with support from the Tenant Participation Advisory Service (TPAS) Scotland, is carrying out a review of its Allocations Policy, which will affect everyone who is applying for a house or a transfer with Stirling Council. The Council has asked TPAS Scotland, an independent tenant support organisation, to carry out the survey and organise events to hear your views.

Your views count

We are writing to all tenants and applicants for your views, so please give us your feedback by completing the survey and by attending a local event. Your views will help the Council decide how it allocates its homes in the future.

There are a few ways you can give your views:
  • here, where you can complete an Anonymous Survey - deadline is Monday 2 September 2019.
  • or by filling in the Consultation Document we send you and returning it in the prepaid envelope by Monday 2 September 2019 (Please note, no stamp is required)
There will also be some afternoon and evening drop-in events during August where you can share your views and hear more about the review.

These will be in:

Community Centre Cowie Monday 12 August, 1.30pm – 3.30pm
Mayfield Centre St Ninians Tuesday 13 August, 6 pm – 8 pm
McLintock Hall Balfron Wednesday 14 August, 6 pm – 8 pm
Muir Hall Doune Tuesday 20 August, 1.30pm – 3.30pm
Sport and Leisure Club Killin Wednesday 21 August, 3 pm – 6 pm
Raploch Campus Room 1 Thursday 22 August, 10am-12 noon

TPAS Scotland will report your views to Housing staff and the Housing Advisory Group, which includes tenants and local elected members and a new draft allocation policy will be developed and agreed by the Council’s Environment and Housing Committee. When the policy has been approved, everyone on the current housing list will be advised of how this will affect their application.
